My name is Ebba, a outgoing and enthusiastic 23 year old girl from Sweden that first of all would like to thank you for reading my cover letter! Growing up with a garden directly connected to the ocean and a family extremley passionate for sailing, being on the water has always been a big part of my life. Except for spending the entire summers sailing, fishing, waterskiing and motor boating I have myself even competed in sailing as a child, as well as worked as a sailing instructor. This is where I have gained most of my knowledge covering navigation, knots and seamanship. But also the importance and respect needed when being on the ocean. After spending many years working within customer service my interest for operating in a close relation to humans has grown by every year that has passed. I am therefore looking to develop a career in the yachting industry. Not only because of my passion for boats and life on the ocean, also to combine my great interest in meeting new people, learning from others by further developing skills and qualities of my own and grow as a person. During high school as well as college I have participated in several different associations. My greatest achievement was whenI became fadder of the year among 200 other students at college. With a motivation from the board being “ A girl who always is there for her friends, shows up with a smile onher face and never complains” I could not have been more grateful. Myself I value respect and acceptance of every group members opinions as key to success as a team. Being a team player inlcludes a lot more than collaboration skills. For me it is all about creating a positive group dynamic, laughter, and acceptance of every one and others differences. There is nothing like achieving a goal together with others and sharing that happiness with an entire team. You will find me always showing up with a smile on my face, being eager to work hard and always showing respect.
