Hi My name is Brandon White, i\'m a 33 year old from Sunny South Africa based in Capetown. Most of my work experience is land based and mostly working in the electrical field doing specialised testing. I am always eager to experience new things and adapt very quickly to new surroundings and people, i am a fast learner and very hands on with the job at hand, saying that, i am a hard worker. I worked for a charter company in Cape Town for experience and in my free time or off days i worked at a jet-ski charter company taking guests out on jet-ski rides and driving tenders. Other than that my hobbies include things like water-sports, mainly wake boarding. I would still want to do a kite surfing lesson and diving course just to add them to my accomplishments. Other hobbies include dirt bike riding, sharpening my skills at the Gun range as i am a licensed Gun owner for self defence, the occasional computer gamer and content creator meaning i am a affiliated streamer on a gaming platform. It is obviously very difficult to get a foot in the door as an aspiring green deckhand, and getting that first Job on a super yacht. Working for a local charter company does give some experience in the maritime industry which i think does give me an advantage over other young green deckhands who has not worked a day in their life. This statement might be too \"straight forward\" for some, as everyone deserves an equal chance to prove themselves. My main reason for joining the world of Yachting is for financial reasons, as work is getting more and more scares in RSA, which in turn forces us to look for better opportunities elsewhere. If my pursuit in the yachting industry is successful i would definitely stay in the industry and better myself in working my way up the ranks to captain.
